Petit Verdot is a late ripening grape variety. Due to the climate of 2018 it showed an exceptional ripeness. It is a delicate variety that requires special care and expresses fruity and floral notes.

LES HAUTS DU VIEUX LANDAT
This fruity Haut-Médoc comes from the plateau of Verteuil, the highest part of the domain. The fruity aromas are obtained thanks to pre-fermentating maceration. This type of maceracion of the berries in the grape juice is made possible by cooling the pomace.

50% Merlot, 50% Cabernet Sauvignon
First wine produced by Pierre Signolle at Château Vieux Landat.
This appellation wine has been aged in new oak barrels. 20 years later, it reveals smooth and developed tannins and aromas. Dried and cooked fruits, cocoa.
There are few bottles left for connoisseurs and old wine lovers.
